From 5 to 10 November, Rohini Indian Restaurant & Bar at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers marks the festival of lights with vegetarian and non-vegetarian set menus, festive drinks and a nightly contest for the best look in the room.

Diwali has always been about coming together: lamps lit, tables full and the people who matter close. From 5th to 10th November 2026, Rohini Indian Restaurant & Bar at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers brings that spirit to JLT with six evenings of festive dining, seasonal drinks and a Best Dressed contest that rewards the guest who arrives in their finest.

At the centre of the celebration is a Diwali set menu designed as an unhurried, generous feast. The vegetarian menu opens with dahi vada, soft lentil dumplings under whipped yoghurt and sweet and spicy chutneys, followed by Sofiyani achari paneer tikka, tandoor-cooked malai ke phool and crisp subz karare kebab. Mains bring paneer tikka masala, lasooni bhuna saag, hing dhania chatpate aloo and the 24-hour slow-cooked dal makhani, alongside a vegetable biryani with raita and a basket of assorted Indian breads.

The non-vegetarian menu keeps the dahi vada and turns up the tandoor with murgh tikka, Ajwani mahi tikka and seekh kebab. Butter chicken and Kashmiri rogan josh lead the mains, joined by dal makhani, hing dhania chatpate aloo and a chicken biryani, again served with assorted breads.

Both menus end on the sweet notes the festival is known for: home-made rice kheer, gulab jamun and malai ka motichur layered with saffron mascarpone cream.

Behind the festive menu is Chef Thirumalai Murugan, Cluster Executive Chef at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers, who brings nearly three decades of experience to Rohini’s kitchen. Guided by a philosophy of elevated simplicity, he blends family recipes with regional Indian specialities, and it shows across the Diwali menu, from the tandoor-led starters to the 24-hour dal makhani and the saffron-layered malai ka motichur.

Diwali is also a time to dress up, and Rohini is turning that tradition into a nightly moment. Each evening of the celebration, one guest will be named the Best Dressed winner, making every night of the six a chance to step out in festive style. The excitement is sure to build,  but what awaits the winners remains a surprise.

The set menu is priced at AED 149 per person for the vegetarian menu and AED 189 per person for the non-vegetarian menu, with festive cocktails and mocktails available to accompany the evening.

Seatings are limited to two hours, and complimentary valet parking is available. To reserve your spot, call +971 52 392 5670.
